Solianis Holding AG is a medical devices company developing a non-invasive Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) for self-monitoring patients with diabetes, within the broader range of physiological monitoring.

In a number of trials, conducted in cooperation with the University Hospital Zurich since May 2006, Solianis has shown that its multisensor platform reliably tracks glucose changes in patients with diabetes as well as healthy subjects. In these trials, the subjects have gone through glucose challenges under various conditions designed to test the impact of the additional effects, thus simulating real life conditions.

In a first breakthrough clinical trial (“Outpatient I study”), finalized in November 2008, the applicability of the platform was further demonstrated in an outpatient setting, i.e. patients have worn a first configuration of the future device in their daily life. Results obtained in 16 patients over 380 test days show that the Solianis Multisensor System is able to reliably track glucose in patients with diabetes.
